Learn-to-Row (LTR) is an introductory class for adults (or parent/child) to the sport of rowing.  Over the course of 6 hours, IRC coaches, with the help of volunteers, will teach you proper rowing technique, inside and on the water, as well as educate you on rowing terminology, safety and teamwork.

The focus will be in eight person (sweep) boats.  There will be the opportunity to scull in a single person boat Saturday mornings after you have completed the class (free for the remainder of the month).

Learn to Row graduates will also be invited to attend Adult Rowing sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays (6:15pm) for free, for the remainder of the month.

The Junior Banquet will be held at either one of two locations.  Our preference will be for it to be held at the YMCA downtown however we believe that there will be more people interested in coming than they have space for.  We may have to move the banquet to the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center at 2930 Waterfront Pkwy West Dr. on the west side of town.

The cost will be $25 per person for all non-rowers.  Our athletes and coaches will be attending free of charge.
