The LTR 3 class will be held on consecutive Saturdays, May 30th and June 6th from 1:00 to 4:00
Junior summer rowing for juniors with at least one season of experience rowing with IRC Juniors. Practice will be daily from 7:00am to 9:00am. Varsity rowers will be focusing on small boats (1x, 2x, 2-) and rowers that were on the novice team this last season will primarily be in a 4+. Technique will be the primary focus.
Rowers that have not spent at least one season on the IRC Junior team should register for our Novice Junior Summer Rowing camps in June and/or July.
We will also be looking to take boats to club nationals in Cincinnati the weekend of July 17th. Rowers will have until the end of the first week of camp to indicate their interest in attending. The club nationals trip will be an extra cost trip, probably around $350.00. The actual cost will be determined by the number of individuals who will be going. I must have COMPLETE and COMPETITIVE boats in order to go so it is possible that not all interested rowers will get to attend.
The LTR 4 class will be held on Monday 6/1 and Wednesday 6/3, from 6:00 to 9:00.
The OAAR Program is for Collegiate Rowers over the summer. This program is done in conjunction with Butler Rowing Club. The cost is $150 ($100 to IRC, $50 to Butler Rowing Club). Practices are Monday-Friday, 6-8pm and will be coached by Butler's Rowing coach, Stephen Eckstein.
Session 1 of Novice Junior Summer Rowing will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm weekdays starting June 8th and running through June 26th. Students will get to learn the fundamentals of both sweep rowing in our 8 person shells and sculling in our training singles.
Session 2 of Novice Junior Summer Rowing will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm weekdays starting XX/XX and running through XX/XX. Students will get to learn the fundamentals of both sweep rowing in our 8 person shells and sculling in our training singles.
The LTR 5 class will be held on July 6th and July 8th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Learn-to-Row 6 is a full day class on Saturday, July 11th. The morning session will be from 9am to noon and the afternoon session will be from 1pm to 4pm.
